foundit
Updated on Dec 05, 2024
Welcome to foundit's detailed Platform Walkthrough where we’ll help you navigate through our platform and tell you end to end about 'How to perform searches', 'How to screen candidate profiles', 'how to do candidate outreach' and 'Post a job' on the platform, so let's begin.
After you login to your recruiter account, click on ‘Search’ to get started.
In this example we are searching for a UI Developer with skills such as HTML, and CSS. It's recommended whenever you are searching for a keyword with two or more words, always use the double quotes, like we have done in this example to get the most relevant results.
Here we have taken ReactJS as a mandatory keyword. Too many keywords in the mandatory section can restrict your search. Include only the skills and qualifications that are essential (100%)
Now, select the section in which you want to search for keywords, whether it's the profile, designation, or any other area of your choice.
Below, you will find all the smart filters that we offer to simplify your hiring process. Clicking on 'more' allows you to access additional filters, including options for location, experience, education, industry, company, notice period, salary, gender, designation, and language. Now, let's take a closer look at a few insights.
Coming to intuitive smart insights - Here, you can figure out candidate profiles based on their work history, promotions, startup experience, and so much more. You even have the choice of shortlisting candidates by the pedigree of their educational institutions.
Want someone with a rock-solid educational background and job stability? No problem. Let's search for that. I am clicking on ‘Not a Job Hopper’ insight & and someone from the top 100 colleges in India. Click on the "Apply" button to confirm your Smart insights selections.
And your new search results are ready!
This is called the Search Results Page (SRP). Here's where it gets exciting. Now you have the option to find candidates who are registered on foundit and beyond.
Profiles are grouped into ‘All,’ ‘Registered,’ and ‘Sourced.’ Registered candidates are those who have signed up on foundit, while sourced candidates are those gathered from publicly available platforms onto our platform.
We utilize over 15 sources to syndicate, curate, and showcase profiles in the sourced section.
As explained earlier, you can find the smart filters below and apply them directly from this section to refine your search further.
On the right side, you'll find all the profiles tailored to your requirements. From this list, you can compare profiles to make the most data-driven decision. Simply click on the profiles you want to compare. You can compare up to five profiles at no cost, with no impact on your inventory. Click the "Compare" button to start the comparison process, and you'll see a side-by-side view of these profiles.
This one-of-a-kind feature sets our platform apart from competition, empowering you to make smarter, more informed hiring decisions effortlessly!
Once you've found the perfect candidate, take it a step further by clicking the "Similar" icon to discover closely aligned profiles. With one click, the system uses attributes like company, job title, and salary to find matching profiles. Amazing, right?
Now let’s understand about ‘Super Profile’. So, if you liked a profile - click on it and now you would be taken where you can get detailed background of a potential employee.
The Super Profile surpasses a traditional résumé by providing comprehensive details about the candidate's background and experience, as well as information on awards, certifications, and more.
On the right side, you'll discover smart insights derived from their education and experience, along with a list of their skills.
On the left side, information like their CTC, notice period details, active status, and contact information are displayed.
Furthermore, a visual representation of their career trajectory is provided, enabling you to easily spot any overlaps or gaps in their professional history.
As you scroll down, delve into comprehensive details including work experience, education, awards, projects, certifications (in case this applies to the profile), and even the candidate's resume, prepared by us.
With the foundit resume, we provide an even richer profile, offering you a holistic view of the candidate—one that goes beyond just their CV
Now let’s delve into how you can reach out to your shortlisted candidates.
There are multiple ways to perform outreach for a candidate. After conducting a search, you can either review multiple profiles or choose one at a time.
Alternatively, if you want to reach out to all candidates from the search results page (SRP) after performing a search, you can do so too – profile count display can also be increased from 40 to a maximum of 160 per search results page.
In this example, let's select everyone from the search results page and add them to a folder.
Let's name the folder "Test_Software Engineer" for record-keeping purposes and click the "Create" button.
Once the folder has been successfully created - Now, you can reach out to screened prospects via email, and SMS.
Chat is now live and rolled out to a select group of users. It will soon be available to everyone!
Let’s start with "Email" button to begin an outreach campaign. Please note that you can send emailers to up to 5,000 profiles at once.
This is how the outreach portal looks.
Here, you can choose to schedule a campaign or send it immediately. It’s generally advisable to schedule the campaign, as this allows the system to build momentum gradually, improving delivery rates and overall results.
In the "Sender ID" and "Receive Replies On" fields, enter your company email address to specify where the email should be sent from and where you want to receive replies. Using your company’s email address, rather than foundit’s or a personal Gmail, adds credibility, makes your outreach more professional, and instills greater confidence in candidates considering the application.
Now, by simply providing the designation, required experience range, and location
Our ‘Gen by AI’ will automatically start crafting a personalized outreach email tailored to your needs—including a detailed & polished job description.
By the time you fill in details like the campaign name and minimum and maximum salary, the entire email will be ready to send. This feature is designed to save you time and improve your efficiency.
Adding follow-ups can significantly boost the candidate responses rates and so we’ve automated this too. Now 2 AI - powered follow-ups will be included in your outreach campaigns by default. but they will stop if the candidate responds at any point.
You can always make changes to the follow-up content and timing as needed.
If you'd like to reset a specific follow-up, simply click on the "Reset" button
This will reset only the selected follow-up, without affecting any other follow-up emails or the main mailer, giving you full control over what to add or remove.
Now, add the candidate details by selecting the folder we just created, "Test_Software Engineer."
Then, click "Send Mail" to reach all the candidates in the "Test_Software Engineer" folder.
Add your company name, banner, and logo to instill confidence in job seekers and encourage responses. Once everything is set up, you’re ready to launch the campaign or save it as a draft and send it later.
We’re confident that this portal will simplify your outreach process, and help you connect with top candidates more efficiently.
Now let’s see how to post a job on foundit
From the navigation bar, click on Job Posting
You will need to provide the job title here. In this example, I am looking for a Product Manager. With a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 years of work experience. Additionally, you have the option to prioritise job applications based on experience.
If you have the skills and job description ready, you can add them here. If not, don’t worry.
Simply click on 'Generate Skills and Job Description by AI,' and you will see it generated in seconds right before your eyes.
You have additional options to highlight specific perks or benefits for the job role. You will also see options to choose the work mode and DEI considerations. I am adding the job location as Bangalore. with a minimum salary of 18 lakhs and a maximum of 25 lakhs, but I don't want to disclose this to the seeker, so I am clicking this box.
I am now selecting the industry and other required fields like Education etc
We have now introduced the much-awaited option: 'Show Recommended Resumes from the Database.' By clicking on this filter, you will receive resumes that match your job posting attributes from foundit's database, all within 30 minutes. The number of resumes will continue to increase over time, and you can expect to receive between 50 to 500 resumes based on availability.
Also, you can add a questionnaire to the job posting by clicking the 'Add Questionnaire to This Job Posting' option. The CTA will then immediately changes to 'Next.'
